The 2010/2011 Premiership season fixtures have been announced and they will kick off on August 15 2009.

The FA Cup Final will be on May 15, the Champions League Final on May 22 and the World Cup will kick off on June 11 2010

United will begin their defence of the Premier League title at home to newly promoted Birmingham 15 August, followed by a trip to Burnley.

The title holders will have to wait until the end of the month before their first match against one of the top four clubs as they take on Arsenal at Old Trafford on 29 August, with the return fixture at Emirates Stadium on 30 January. They play Liverpool away on 24 October, and home on 20 March.
